Do the false-positive bans really happen often?
I wanna try out Valorant, but my friends recently have told me that its anticheat likes to ban for no reason (at least, they said like it is so much strict).
So, is it true tho? I mean, i only have League (in which Vanguard is coming also iirc) F2p account, but it would be not funny to get banned.

That's because cheaters like to come in here pretending they didn't cheat
But it's very fun to catch them up in a lie
You just have to push at them hard enough and they'll eventually break
to be fair, it is kinda strict. but you should be good when you just use apps everybody uses. i´ve heard vangauard bans when theres gta or roblox cheats on your pc :KEKL:
I have a lot of modded files for other games, especially old NFS
not cheats, but mods, like Pepega mod for Most Wanted
no idea what files are bannable and which arent. not even support will tell you - since an anticheat the user doesnt get to know what is bannable or what isnt, is the safest at the end of the day

My friends are like those, who cry about it is strict behaviour and privacy issues, but i don't get them
if i was you, i´d make a new account, then play val for 3 days on there. if youre not banned after 3 days, just move to your main

i wont make any sense then to make other account bc it will be hwid banned
if vanguard doesnt detect anything in the first 3 days of you playing the game, it prob wont after either.
in case you do play with your main and you´re banned, your main account is basically permanently deleted as well
and idk if your whole riot account will be locked for val+ league + whatever riot game - or just val (in case of a 3rd party ban)

as i know, vanguard comes to league so prob it will be banned as well
so then it would make sense using an alt account to test if vanguard will trigger or not
if yes - you can play any game with your main after 4 months again

I got my account banned for a month recently but it was about afking not cheating I just started playing on my second account with no problems I also have mods and other stuff like that didn't have any problems with that

if vanguard is installed and you start val, it checks. if you have sus stuff for the anticheat, youre baned immed. if not, you can just play

I had a friend get banned falsely for cheating. He was terrible at the game and I have over 2k hours so I would be able to tell if a noob was cheating. He never did anything sus and almost never match or team MVP
From what I know, cheats from other games can get u perma banned on valorant. For example having a cs2 cheat will trigger vanguard
