Unable to upload models to Stable Diffusion.
Hi Team,
These days, I am unable to upload models to Stable Diffusion using CIVITAI or Google Drive.
Curl -O -J -L doesn't work.
Wget doesn't work too.
Gdown doesn't work either.
Please assist. Thanks!

can u give more information why doesn't work? isnt wget to download? and stuff?
and like share information and errors?
and what are u trying to do?
Sure,
I deploy a GPU COMMUNITY POD RTX 3090.
Everything works out well with Jupyter Notebook ready.
Then I follow the usual steps to download models from CIVITAI into the Stable Diffusion Models folder. It used to work earlier. But these days, it won't.
I do the same with my own Models from Google Drive.
Regarding the error message, I am sorry, I just deleted the pod in frustration.
are u trying to download?
Well for civitai are u authorized to download it?
sometimes on civitai authors have changed it where u need an authentication key
when making a request
for gdown
i cant say tbh
make sure u are updated the latest i guess
I try to download the Epic Realism SD 1.5 MODEL from CIVITAI
there was a version of gdown that kept through some issue
Yea tbh, I can't say, what is the command ur running?
can u share that
Updated what?
The latest version of gdrive
*gdown
Ahh okay, app is always updated. I will however double check.
Yeah, id also say that civitai, again, some authors require u to do an authentication key

My templates all have a working version of gdown, I guess @Justin Merrell needs to rebuild the RunPod ones to solve the broken gdown issue.
I mean check the version using gdown --version
https://github.com/wkentaro/gdown/issues/291
This was a while ago, maybe runpod's is updated but there was an issue i remember affecting runpod ppl about a month or two ago

You can also use curl to download directly to your pod:
Using your API token you create on CivitAI.
^yea make sure ur using auth keys too
Runpod Stable Diffusion template is very old, it has broken version of gdown, ancient ControlNet etc
Yea so might want to update it
If you are using stable diffusion webui, just use one of my templates, they are all latest of everything
I also have a forge template that is supposedly faster than A1111
Ahh thanks!

but yea
maybe just try to update it
gdown has a lot of issues
all the time tbh hhh
from what i can tell
xD
i dont use it
mostly prob bc google updates a lot LOL
It doesn't
ah ok
lol
it was fine until Google changed something
yea
then they released a fix for it quickly
but yea just update hopefully should be good
hopefully the auth key also fixes ur issue
guess im just not a fan of gdrive as a cli storage lol. but i get its convenient / easy
Which one is yours on run pod?
I see one Stabls Diffusion and another Fast Stable Diffusion
Neither, those are RunPod ones
Ahh, you have a standalone template to be downloaded to a laptop or PC?
I mean RunPod managed templates, check under community section
No, he has templates on github, that he made public which u can find on runpod
to deploy urself 🙂
basically runpod lets u create community templates
that others can use and find
so he makes a lot of them
and he has also great resources on his github of a bunch of things around runpod
Okay, will try all the above steps on Monday
Thank you Team
This is the Forge one
just community members to be clear xD, in case u ever get confused, only purple is staff
but me / ashelyk just active haha
👍
but gl gl
@ashleyk Hi, i just tried Forge template, it's charming!!
Got the realistic vision pre-installed and I could quickly render few test images
Did not try downloading CIVITAI models. Will try on Monday
@ashleyk I have DMed you requesting some help.
Hi,
Is there a tutorial for downloading MODELS from the updated CIVITAI into your RunPod instance?

No but there is a reddit post
that you can refer too
or search online
I wrote about it here
which the reddit post points out some more things on how to do it
Cool, thanks
So I replace the "xxxxxx" with my API token?
Thanks buddy!
But all of sudden your Forge template says "no such image exists..."
I will check with templates from other people and let you know
The image does exist.
Retrying
Working fine for me.
Yeah, nice working. Had to delete my pod
how can I use your template?
Which template? There are lots. Go to Explore and then you can browse templates under the Community section.
Hey @ashleyk , I am using your Forge template. It says ADetailer is installed already. But I don't see it in txt2img tab. How do I enable it please?
Oh thats an error I think, I didn't install ADetailer in the Forge template.
Strange!!
Where did you see ADetailer?
I go to "Extensions" and then "Installed"
At the bottom, it says ADetailer with blue checkbox ticked
Date says 23,Jan 2024
You are its Forge and not A1111?
Now I am confused. I type Forge in Explore and then get only yours template.
So I deploy it on GPU cloud
But it appears hugely similar or exactly like A1111
What does it say at the bottom of the Web UI interface?
version: f0.0.16v1.8.0rc-latest-268-gb59deaa3 • python: 3.10.12 • torch: 2.1.2+cu121 • xformers: 0.0.23.post1 • gradio: 3.41.2 • checkpoint: 15012c538f
Oh yeah thats Forge, I don't know where ADetailer came from.
Sorry
I'll spin it up and take a look
Thanks
Its not pre-installed on a fresh pod.
Definitely not installed, you sure you didn't install it? 23 Jan is the last time the extension was updated.
After I install it in the Web UI, it looks fine
By the way, it doesn't work properly at the moment in Forge because its only on the
dev
branch of Adetailer apparently. So you will need to install it manually if you want to use it with Forge:

How does one open Jupiter from the Forge template? I was using the TheLastBen template which loaded Jupiter on a separate port when deploying the server, and don't know how to start it otherwise
What do you mean? Are you using the Forge template or TheLastBen's Fast Stable Diffusion template? You can't use both on a single pod.
I'm using the Forge template. On a different pod (that I use to train Dreambooth) I'm using TheLastBen's. But with the Forge Template, I can figure out how to open Jupiter (or another UI in which I can open multiple terminals, see the file structure, etc)
Read the README, Jupyter is on port 8888.
Thank you. It's all in there. Is there a way to see log output of the Forge UI itself? (I don't see it in Log)
Should be in the log.
Last thing in the Container Logs is "container is ready!" Btw thank you for your quick replies and for this great template!
That means its all finished syncing and ready to use but some applications still take a couple of minutes to load models etc so if something isn't working as expected, best to tail the logs.
Where would I see the logs from the Forge instance? For example, I'm getting an error when generating images using an existing model, but without the logs of the Forge instance I can't see the stack trace to diagnose it
Read the README.
Silly me, it's all there. Thank you!
@ashleyk can you send me the link to your Forge template please. I don't know what is wrong here, I don't see any of the forge related extensions in the "Installed" tab.
Browse for it under
Explore
, you can enter Forge
as a searchThat's what I always do. I will give it a try again
Its the only one with Forge in the name, the others are all Fooocus
You can also confirm by checking that the docker image contains my name.
That's the one I always use.
I will retry later.
Time to head for work
