Rooting doesn’t affect safety It allows you to use safer methods Using regular pgsharp on a rooted phone is the same as non rooted With a rooted magisk phone u can use injection software That way u can overlay a joystick/coordinates into the vanilla pogo Pogo doesn’t rly detect based on behavior, they detect modified apps Since u have a rooted phone and can use injections, you are always logging into the vanilla app Therefore rooting your device is necessary for safer spoofing

Things like pgsharp are modified applications and can be detected and flagged by niantic but using a jailbroken iOS device or rooted android these actually use the official Pokémon go app from AppStore instead of a modified application and injects the cheats into the official app making it wayyyy more safer
