What do they mean install!?!?

Valorant worked and still works nicely but I had to disconnect the cables to my computer once to move them to a better spot and then connect them again. But just because I have done so, they keep telling me to install the game whenever I start it, even if I had already installed it. And they don't even install it! Just open the Riot-Games launcher to where I then press to play Valorant. As I previously could just click to play it in Epic Games and they knew immediately what I wanted.
