Reboot after initial setup is a blinking cursor and no more - Legion Go
I am booting from a USB SSD, this has booted successfully initially and i went through the initial setup. I have gone for a reboot after installing some items and it's just coming back with a blinking cursor - not a login prompt. How can I fix this ? thanks.

Please mention which System you have installed including the desktop variant.
Plus some info on the hardware you use, like Desktop/Deck/etc plus GPU brand and lastly if you have SecureBoot enabled or not in your UEFI-BIOS.
Those kind of info is always needed when you ask for help with a problem on your machine...
No one can look through your eyes to see that stuff

Secure boot is disabled - I had to do that for the kernel to load initially. The system a Lenovo Legion Go with a AMD Z1 Extreme APU. I installed the deck variant from the installer then installed decky plugin from the bazzite initial setup menu
Thanks, im sure with that info there will be someone who can help you đź‘Ť
after about 6 reboots it's now come up. very weird
So the legion go has a known hardware issue booting off external SSDs
Where it can be unstable and crash
Whereas it'll work fine on internal SSD
That's probably what you're seeing
it has been fine since, I think I have everything running now. Very strange why that happened though
External drives can be unreliable
glad it finally worked
