@mythea
Help
did u tell him to apply changes to its childhood
gezzz thats kinda fucked
it's down there below the disable inheritance button
i currently only have these two @mythea
You’re thinking of the wrong thing
It means the objects it owns
Instead of doing the exe do the entire folder
the entire W64 folder?
Just do the entire riot games folder
Top one
I can’t walk you through it right now
But it will be completely the same
You just press add type in the name press, check names OK apply OK
same as the recent steps for this section
Yes
ok
didn't work gonna try what val support gave me
Did you take the box where it said replace all
no
i pressed yes and it unckecks it
I am not on my computer to see if that is normal
But my guess is that it’s probably not
What?
I think you should read all of this before saying anything
it will apply after u pressed yes
u can verify by viewing it's childhoods permissions
ok
yeah it still doesn't work
think i might just play val at another computer. im on a laptop thats why
Move the Riot Games folder from the local disk C to the program files folder instead
And then launch the game
doesn't work
How did you launch the game after moving the folder?
Throught Riot Client, or through the Valorant shortcut on the desktop?
You're probably gonna have to locate the new installation path on Riot Client since you moved it
You can either google how to do so, or call me on discord and I'll walk you through it
not really, if it doesn't recognize any instillation for the game it will ask you to install it again then you just redirect to its current folder and it will check the integrity of the game files and (maybe) ask for a system restart.
correct
if it found valorant folder at the pointing path, it will check for checksums/hashes
