Advice on monitors pls

I have a pretty old budget but still pretty decent VA panel 144 hz monitor, it works but ive felt ghosting sometimes, i was thinking about upgrading it for a 165 hz ips monitor. is it worth it?

this one is bad in response times, motion blur isn't it focus on ips panel, response time(both gtg and mprt), features such as dc modulation, vrr, blacklight strobing, most of then should have these features, but performance on blacklight strobing can varies, so look out for any professional review u can find them on yt, and some product reviews website, such as rtings

oh well u are one of those who fell into gimmicks there are many monitors advertised as "1ms" so what? they still suck they're best results measured, and mprt isn't same as gtg response time mprt is more important for comp games, yeah, no arguments, but slow gtg response time can also give u incredible bad experience the common way to enhance mprt is to implement backlight strobing/black frame insertion and it's performance also varies depending on how manufacturers implement them same with the opposite, slow mprt fast gtg response time, u will get blurry images while playing fast paced games look out for some actual reviews rather than advertising gimmicks maybe u are good enough with that but def not everyone useful site for u, blurbusters com

generally monitors with gsync ultimate or freesync premium pro are good enough, manufacturers wont use those chips on bad monitors if a manufacturer believe in their product quality, they'd also give atleast 3 years warranty
