no it supports typescript and multiple frameworks too. I'd spend some time reading the documentation to get a complete picutre of plasmo framework capabilities.

Thanks for your response. I noticed I should have phrased my question properly. I meant, can we use Plasmo with vanilla JS and not use TS or a framework 🙂

I asked a question regarding Messaging API in "extension" text channel, as I am so confused, you seemed to spend some time in the docs, do you understand this Messaging API part? I understand what you can do with it, and send stuff between "places" but I am trying to make API calls to a database to write and retrieve data, is that even possible with the Messaging API?
