Next SSR + RSC and caching, how exactly do query params play into this?

Say I have a Next Link where I've loaded up the query params with most of the content I would need to display on a page. When clicking on that link would the client send the full query param to the server, or is Next smart enough to grab the href from the clicked (Next) Link component that was rendered server side as part of an RSC ? For context I'm using Next 14 and tRPC, hosted on Vercel.
