Edge computing Processors
For me, I always choose the Jetson Series Nano or Xavier NX SOM. There are a few more to consider like RPi with Corel Accelerator & Snapdragon from Qualcomm etc.

Has anyone tried with low cost controllers too? Because these solutions are not budget friendly.

Jetson nano haven't tried it yet but would definitely love to see it work. Tensor flow lite model runs even on esp32
I agree they are expensive. I used them for prototyping Autonomous driving with LIDAR & fault detection (manufacturing line) with Camera interface along with OpenCV. I must say they are reliable the only issue is with the cost. I have not yet tried running ML or inference on MCU.
