Japan winter recommendations
Hey all
I (20M) am heading to Japan within the next week with some mates and wanted to reach out for some fashion advice. I like to think I am pretty fashionable with a good style sense, however, since the temps in Japan will be ranging from 0-10 degrees celsius, I figure that I will need to incorporate a bit of layering and stepping out of my comfort zone with accessories such as beanies, scarves, gloves etc. I was looking for some pointers as to how I should dress. I am looking for a more sophisticated look rather than the whole streetwear trend but I am a bit opposed to formalish dressing such as long overcoats or button-up blazers/vests.
At the moment the clothing I know I will be heavily using includes:
- TNF puffer jacket
- Assorted basic sweatpants (nike tech fleece etc)
- Basic smart casual pants ( This will be paired with thermal inners to ensure I stay warm!)
- Basic plain t-shirts ( I don't plan on having a t-shirt as a top layer, so these are just another layer in the fit!)
- I do have a few hoodies which I am planning on taking however they are all a bit different in style and fit so that's also something I'll need to work out !
Would really appreciate some pointers!

these r some fits which i really like
this style i think it pretty cool
but open to hearing from others
Yeah warmth comes down more to base layers rather than fashion advice, get some nice merino wool baselayers and you'll be set
Going from your picture look for more knitted tops: long sleeve polo's, turtlenecks, or go for a collared shirt under some heavier wool
alr bet Ill go shoppiing and try to pickup some heat before leaving the day after lmao
Lots of the outfits you like feature midlayers like sweaters, I'd recommend grabbing one, maybe in black
A big overcoat will help to keep you warm too, like the camel coat in one of your outfits
