how to spend time
I normally do a 15-30 min aimlabs routine (whj x voltaic, I skip around some of them occasionally), and then I normally do 2-3 death matches before ranked. If I only have 1 hour to play, should I do the 15 min routine and then a comp game? Or the 30 min routine and like 3 death matches? if my sole goal is improvement

imo, a routine should not take more than 10-20 minutes MAX.
Try to combine all of them, like:
10 minutes the aimlab routine you find helpful.
5 minutes range (practice(work on whatever you need, For example; strafing.))
1 deathmatch (it's 4-5 minutes max)
should be enough 🤷♂️
I personally only do 1/2 team deathmatches (depends how I preformed) and then start a comp game 🤷♂️
if you only have an hour i would say to just practise
which would be the 30 min routine and a couple DMs right
what rank are you?
you dont really need 30 minutes of aimlabs
b2
no real fps experience before
yeah you dont need that much aimlab
just do 15 minutes aimlab
it’s the woohoojin x voltaic one
then some range and deathmatch
it doesnt matter which one
it helps but not as much as you think
focus on getting used to the game first (movement, crosshair placement, positioning, etc)
do the aim training after you understand the game
my aim is the thing that sucks the most though
thats what you think
its most likely positioning
and crosshair placement
people will group those together with aim even tho they are different
positioning I have down from other games (not fps, but I understand the general tactics), crosshair placement is decent (not great)
like I lose 1v1 duels without util in a completely open space
positioning in valorant is pretty unique compared to other games because of the abilities
thats the problem
you shouldnt be in open space
you were badly positioned
in death matches
every 1v1 is different
normal games I try to hold angles, but I get most of my kills just from util
who peeks, height, information all play a part
watch the whj guides for lower ranks
he encompasses everything
I did
he’s basically the only person I’ve watched for tips
that’s why I specifically went with his aim routine
just do the aim routine less
and focus more in game
ok
