Johnston & Murphy
Anyone have penny loafer recs from J&M? I like the style of the hayes penny loafers they have and theyre on sale. How are quality of J&M?

This is probably not going to be mfa's favorite shoe brand. I used to like them maybe 12 or so years ago; I wasn't doing as well financially (and didn't know as much about shoes then) and thought they were reasonably priced and quite a bit better than Rockport (I really didn't know anything about shoes lol). But in 2017 they stopped making shoes in the USA and anything branded by J&M are now sourced by third-party contractors. So who knows what you're getting - kinda hard to recommend.
