Are you reestablishing the web terminal connection? The previous terminal connection is killed b/c of the restart. It isn't persistent

I pressed the button to start the web terminal but it never starts. It only ever works the first time a pod is started and after that never works again.

What template are you using? that is very weird if that is a pytorch runpod template, i never have such an issue

I can reproduce this issue if I reset my pod from the hamburger menu. Works fine 1st time but after that it doesn't work anymore. Probably need someone from RunPod to look at it, I believe its a bug.

This is for standard Pod and not Serverless correct?

Yeah gpu cloud/pod, not serverless (also logged in #⛅|gpu-cloud ) 😁

Never hurts to double check 😅 and @cmf7255 is this a custom image? Do you have openssh installed?

@Justin Merrell its reproducable even with openssh installed. My templates have it installed. Step 1. Create a new pod. Step 2. Start Web Terminal. Step 3. Connect to Web Terminal. Step 4. Observe Web Terminal connects successfully. Step 5. Reset Pod using Hamburger menu. Step 6. Start Web Terminal. Step 7. Connect to Web Terminal. Step 8. Observe "Connection Closed" instead of successful connection.

Ah this is where i saw it: https://discord.com/channels/912829806415085598/1207190606795776060 I filed a bug report today but we’ll just have to see when runpod hits it on their backlog - hopefully is a ticket already tho internally. @Justin Merrell And then as a work around, ik it isnt a web browser but i just use jupyter server since that still works or i ssh through my terminal: https://discord.com/channels/912829806415085598/1194711850223415348 but tldr no resolution experienced it myself today wondering what was going on
