So I think I messed up on one point.
I put in my full username instead of deck, I believe this might be the reason as to why I can't change my display to 800p as it will become rainbow-static.
Problem number 2 is me unable to change my tdp settings.
Problem number 3 is steam in gamemode says "error applying update" after ai click "check for update"
Please tell me there is a solution without doing a reinstall.

ujust update in desktop, send any error you might get here
follow the alternative handheld section of the readme to enable TDPWell the 800p problem still persist although the name was not at fault

Ohh i see what you're saying, thing is I've already done that, my legion go isn't reacting once I change the tdp in steam after setting it up in decky.
when you set up your user, did you mark them as admin?

Don't know what you mean by groups but it says my user type is administrator but that's probably not what you meant either

Just learned that it's not really an error just a KDE communication fault between nested desktop mode and the KDE system
yup, that's OK
system itself checked and found no updates available
so it's fine to ignore

I'd post your TDP issue in the main bazzite channel, the developer of that decky plugin is there
so you have mmuch better change of being seen

Turns out that it wasn't just 800p but literally any other resolution than qhd
