Need help with constant freeze frames
My valorant loves to freeze frames. I took all of these freeze frames from one deathmatch. My drivers are up to date.
What could be causing this and how could I fix it? The only thing I could think of is that I use outplayed to record gameplay, but I've been using it for years and the freeze frames are only a recent issue.

Check your memory usage while running val.
And or cpu usage
If it's 90%+ that'll be the issue
@corv
just played a full DM and it never went above 68%
Could be so many things. I've heard people moving valorant from there D drive to C drive, changing mouse polling rate. Reinstalling the game. Updating drivers.
Your best bet is this
Open Windows Control Panel → NVIDIA Control Panel.
Click on 3D Settings → Manage 3D settings.
Scroll down to the bottom of the list and locate the Threaded Optimization parameter.
Change the value from Auto to Off.
Click "Apply" to save the changes.
Let me know if that fixes it, if it doesn't reinstalling can't hurt
have u tried cleaning ur shader cache
tried this and it didn't work :(. then tried reinstalling and still got freeze frames
It's a long shot but unplug your mouse and go into a dm and run around. And then do the same with ur keyboard if its not working i'm unsure what the issue is. Also try the shaders cleaning
just bind walk forward to mouse button or something when u unplug keyboard
surprisingly still did it even without a mouse. same with keyboard. how do you do clean the shaders cache?
Open the NVIDIA control panel.
Go to Manage 3D Settings.
Turn off Shader Cache.
Save and apply changes.
Reboot your PC.
After the PC boots, open the Run dialog box or File Explorer.
Type the following environment variable into the Run dialog box or the File Explorer address bar and hit Enter: %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Temp
At the location, find and open the NVIDIA folder.
In the folder, find and open both the DXCache and the GLCache folder and delete all the items in the folders.
Next, go back to the Local folder.
Now, at that location, find and open the NVIDIA Corporation folder.
In the folder, find and open the NV_Cache folder and delete the contents of the folder.
Exit File Explorer.
Now, go back to the NVIDIA control panel and turn on Shader Cache.
Restart your PC.
If that doesn't work, your last option is to reinstall the game onto your C: drive instead of D: (Or vise versa) If that doesn't work you will just have to contact riot
or move the game from C: to D: don't think u have to fully reinstall
