Photoshop slice tool to HTML - website creation
Hi, I just started learning about HTML last month, but due to my health problems I missed almost all classes, theory ones included, therefore I have no clue how to create a website, no access to Photoshop, and little time to figure everything out. Can someone help me?

I mean PS and Slicing for tables has not been used in many years
decade +
You want to learn how to use CSS Grid and Flexbox, break up a design how you think it should be "sliced"
https://www.figma.com/ is a great tool that many Web designers/developers both use to prototype and design with.
I know, but our school is hella old-fashioned and I genuinely can't find tutorials online and can't use anything else, cuz that's the assignment
Also https://penpot.app/
Tell them to update
cause that is really shitty imo
Over a decade old method you don't need to learn.. you maybe need to know it exists but that is a waste of money and time in a curriculum
Just for reference too https://www.gimp.org/ is the best PS alternative and what I've used for decade +
I wish lol. I use Wix, but for now, I just need to pass and the assignment says we have to use Photoshop to design the website, then slice it with the slice tool and convert it to HTML, then I have to code sh like the navigation bar etc.
Cause Adobe won't get my money.
This is a teacher being lazy af (has an old lesson plan they don't update)
honestly people need to speak up about that kinda stuff..
Specially if you are paying money to learn
I don't even study IT or anything that has in common with it lol. We just have to take IT classes, because I study media, but didn't expect this teacher to pull this sh
That is garbo
call them out, talk to a tuition counselor and be like .. am I really paying for this outdated bullshit
I'm not joking
Colleges need to be called out for this stuff.
idc where in the world.
No excuse for it anymore we have the internet of everythings 😄
I know, bunch of my friends told me this sh is hella old. Like we have apps/ softwares doing all this stuff for us, but the teach be teaching us how to use something we'll never use again
It's not even about apps that do it for us.. it's about l CSS3
Grid and Flexbox are the layout tools you need to learn in CSS
Bro I mean, we use the notepad on notebooks to code so.....
Not PS slices and tables
Such a crime
I'd still use what I want 😂
Then only show them in notepad
Told my sister in-law the same advice
That is horrifying
