Vanguard not working?
I just installed Valorant and whenever I launch I get this message. I restarted my PC a few times but that didn't seem to work. Any ideas?

In order to get Vanguard, VALORANT’s anti-cheat, to work on your computer you most enable secure boot and TPM 2.0. Here are some resources that will assist you in the process:

Please press win + r
Then enter msinfo32
And send a photo of the app that opens
TPM 2.0 isn't supported on my system. I am reading the article, is there any risk to disabling my VBS?
You can’t not use tpm 2.0
Aka tpm 2.0 is required for valorant to run
Yea I understand. I was looking at the Val article and it says to disable VBS. I'm just not too sure what that is and if it's safe to disable it.
^ please do this so I can confirm if tpm 2.0 is supported on you system
Windows 10 or 11?
10
Sorry yea, I'll send over a screenshot in a sec
For windows 10 system you can disable vbs
And it may work
For some systems on windows 10. TPM is required
No matter what
Yea, but what are the risks of doing that? Are there any?
First secure boot is off
Which is required to be on
Sorry, I don't know how to enable it
^
Mb
I'm no where near tech savvy enough to do this on my own so ima try to get in contact with Windows to figure it out. Thank you tho
To enable secure boot?
Yea. Unless I'm over complicating it
It brought me to the screen that pops up if you press "F1" while ur PC is starting up
I had no idea what to do from there. The article wasn't super clear

No problem, here the step by step guide for your motherboard
If you have questions. Please ask
Thank you, what do I do from here?
Great
Are you on a desktop or laptop?
Desktop
Ok
Custom built
Follow the steps below that
To disable vbs
There's no risk to that? Is that why secure boot needed to be enabled? Sorry I'm super cautious about everything
No, secure boot and tpm do some cool things that make cheating in Valorant difficult
kk, so disabling VBS doesn't compromise my PC or data in any way?
VBS is smart to have on and most likely should be kept on
But has long has you don’t install sus software
It will be fine
I have anti-malware and a VPN, does that help "downplay" the risks?
