Can't use Xbox 360 controllers
Hello,
Previously already had one time issue and had to change "ujust use-stock-gamepads " but now this command is missing under ujust in desktop.
I already upgraded firmware of those controllers under windows but it didn't helped.
My machine is Miniforum HX99G.
Controllers are connecting properly to system but keys and analogs are not responding under steamos Menu and in games also. Can I ask for advise?

same thing here
opening up input remapper and it does pick up the thumbstick movements and button presses, but steam does not pick up anything
When you connect a xbox controller it drops 2 devices, one of which is an xbox 360 controller which doesn't accept any input.
Also, if pay attention to the mappings it's doing for the inputs in input remapper, it's incorrectly identifying the face buttons there. buttons "X" and "Y" are being identified as "Button North" and "Button West" respectively
actually plug in the controller and it works fine in steam
a ps5 controller works fine when connected via bluetooth
Did you found any solution for Xbox controller?
Nope
can you both try an
rpm-ostree update
and also provide an rpm-ostree status
after you have rebooted after the update as the modules used for xinput got changed recently from one you had to flipflop between depending on what controller you were using (and you could not use both modules at the same time) to one that lets us use both at the same time.
It would also be useful to know what controller it is as "xbox controller" can mean first party microsoft xbox controller or third party (8bitdo, powera, etc) xbox controllerseems to be working now, at least with a quick test on the controller mapping screen on steam, haven't checked a game
it's a real honest-to-god xbone controller not some 3rd party thing
testing it out in a real game, seems to work fine too
so it works after updating? then it might have been on the old xinput drivers where you had to choose between 3rd party controllers or 1st party controllers with some 3rd party controller support.
Would be an absolute win if true
new driver should be problem-free
absolutely
as this issue has just been weird the whole time since the old fix didnt work
