Special identifiers.
Do there happen to be special identifiers for calling out who redeemed an twich channel point redeem. On other platforms you would use an identifier like $targetuser. Does overlay expert have anything like that?

anything overlay expert has is under content when channel points redeem is selected as the alert, there usually at the top of the list
when you go to the content drawer go down to text group everything at the top is for channel points

I'm trying to enter chat response that calls out who redeemed the reward. I didn't think i was able to but i figured i'd ask.
Like i want it to say "CanadienDragon has checked in" when checked in is redeemed
so you want an event based channel points redeem
I have the event already set up to trigger. My alert goes of. What i'm askin is if it will call out in text the exact person who redeemed it
yes, it will use anything from the picture above you just gotta set it under the text group
I have a check in redemption
If bob checks in i want it to say "bob has just checked in"
Then if chad checks in i want it to say "chad has just checked in"
Is that what the first one is?
"display name?
use the event display name and that will show the username of the user that used the redeem
I guess i read it like it displays the redemption name
no that will display the users name
I want it to display the users name
Perfect
let me just quickly test it to make sure
Then i should be able to combo that with the read text outloud?
if there is an option to add the text to voice then yes it will read the text group content
There is
Sweet
What is event prompt vs event title?
title is the name of your channel points and prompt i believe is what the user has typed, all channel points must have the user text option otherwise overlay expert wont be able to pick it up
Yep you learned me that the other day
Ok thank you so much man
