Custom domain DNS issues
Just set up everything with my domain provider and am now using Cloudflare DNS servers but still cannot figure out the reason to why my custom domain cannot find the DNS servers. DNSSEC has been set up. The DNS records contain two CNAMEs one directing users to the https and one for www. Any help would be appreciated!

Will also add that the .pages.dev domain works fine
domain removed for privacy reasons
it's hard to check anything without the domain
what's the exact error you get?
website DNS address could not be found. Diagnosing the problem.
then after 3 seconds it says the site cannot be reached and to check if there is a typo
enter the domain name here https://dnsviz.net/ and see what you get, look for "BOGUS"/red things
or you can DM me the domain name if you're comfortable with that
sure i can dm you !
on an unrelated note, in the cloudflare docs it says to disable DNSSEC with my domain provider but if i disable it, i can no longer access the DNSSEC records i would need to enter at my registar
You don't enter anything into Cloudflare for DNSSEC, you enter what Cloudflare gives you at your Registrar
sorry that's what i meant
I just refreshed and I see DNSSEC fully setup and working
not sure what you read but you can keep it enabled at CF, and you'd just enter the values it gives you at your Registrar.
Before you move the domain to a diff DNS host, you should disable (at registrar) and then re-enable after move, if you do
did you see my DM about your site?
Looks like it's just DNS Cache (either local or by your resolver), it loads fine for me
ah gotcha
thank you so much !
i'll go ahead and mark this as solved
Sure, if you want to try to skip caching on your end, you can google how to clear dns cache on your operating system, and switch to a DNS Resolver like 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8 which are way faster to pick up changes then most ISP-operated resolvers (default)
and you'd want to do that the other way around, change dns resolver and then clear local cache lol, or just wait it out. Shouldn't be more then a few hours, some ISPs ignore max cache age but usually not by too much
