Packaged DC/DC converter by RECOM
Power is the front-end to all the systems around us and innovation in this domain has been slow and steady. Recom has introduced a packaged DC/DC converter giving upto 6A output.

I have used it in several projects. Both isolated and Nonisolated dc dc modules
Very nice! How do they comare with discrete ones in terms of cost, efficiency?
you need to compare which dc dc IC and recom module you are interested in
it is different for different IC/module
in general dc dc modules make sense when you need isolation or when designer is not confortable using dc dc ic or want to ensure EOL/availability of dc dc ic doesn't impact the design
