gamecube/wii roms crashing dolphin file manager
Hi sorry if this has already been asked but didn't see anything. Everytime i try to copy a gamecube/wii rom from my nas to local it instantly crashes dolphin. I've also tried downloading a rom locally but when i start extracting it it crashes too

Start menu->Settings-ROM Properties Page configuration->Options-> uncheck "Show a security overlay icon for ROM images with "dangerous" permissions...

Try disabling the rom thumbnailer in dolphin settings

thought it was the ROM properties page under General-Previews

Yeah, I've had this issue as well. Weirdly thunar works just fine which is how I got around it.
when you get a moment, can you confirm that same change fixes it for you?
was it pushed in a recent build?
it's adjustable via rom properties settings
under one of the tabs
can just uncheck and apply

was also having the issue with Dolphin on SteamOS on my deck as well

yeah, rom properties integrates with it

so it makes sense an issue w/ that plugin could crash it
it's how we get thumbnails on rom files
and extra details for them

I'm glad both KDE and that project are named the same thing.. Doesn't create any confusion at all!
