Voice chat is not working as in you just hear yourself when you are trying to comm?
i dont hear anyone ingame at all, when im in the settings to do loopback test, i can hear myself
is this setting off?
but whenever in game i cant hear any kind of comms or even talk to anyone

is your default system device the one you have connected
but when i press loopback test and change it too on, i hear myself so my mic is working. but in game its acting like my voice chat feature is off
yes
are you comm banned>
i dont think so
im able to still type to my team
and i can see if they type anything
so when you try to talk you dont see the icon on the left?
i dont see the icon at all yes
how long has this issue been going on for?
i found a reddit thread that sounds exactly like your issue
ill send it to u in private dm
i havent touched valorant since geeko came out, but i recently started playing again
since links are banned on valorants server
can you also send me that link
I had something similar, but to be honest, I was harrasing someone on the mic, so I think it was a comms ban, but I never received any sort of warning. But every time I would start my game, I would have comms only for one match. I would have to restart the game between every match to get comms to work.
This might sound different than your scenario, if so, i'm sorry for my blabber.
Best of luck to you, hopefully Verolex's recommends help. Couple more things you could try, though i'm just pulling straws on this...
Verify Microphone permissions:
Go to Start > Settings > Privacy > Microphone.
Ensure Allow apps to access your microphone is turned on.
Scroll down and find Valorant, make sure it's allowed to access your microphone.
Check Windows Sound settings:
Right-click the speaker icon in the taskbar and select Sounds.
Go to the Recording tab and right-click your microphone.
Select Properties > Levels and adjust the slider to an appropriate level.
Go to the Advanced tab and uncheck any Exclusive Mode options.
Best of luck to you. Take care.
Having this exact same issue tonight. Even uninstalled and reinstalled the game. Can you send the link to me as well?
