plex / zurg web-dav initial setup questions
just signed up for the zurg/webdav bundle and it's awesome and almost to little no configuration needed, but i have two questions so far: 1) is my plex supposed to be not "Not available outside your network" (remotely accessible, port forwarding number needed) - i am signed directly into -plex.elfhosted.com/web . 2) is there a guide on how to fix movies not being correctly identified, shows showing up as movies, i assume there is some filtering to be done to match those?

so yes, it's normal for plex to think it's "not available remotely", since it's behind our reverse proxy and VPN. It still works ๐
basically zurg is using regexes against your content to auto-filter it into various folders.. you could experiment with the config.yml syntax, and check with @yowmamasita whether he's got any other examples.. another approach is to add rdtclient+radarr/sonarr, and use the symlink design to let the arrs decide where the content "should" be, and then rdtclient will symlink it to the
zurg/__all__
directory - that'll get you completely separate libraries for plex to scan
feel free to ask for other examples in #๐งโelf-friends too ๐thanks!
one last thing
https://[user]-zurg.elfhosted.com/http/ <im trying to add it into my infuse shares. authentication is needed? is this the webdav url i'm supposed to add? same credentials at elfhosted? it appears to use wordpress when i go there in a private browser
yes, that's a SSO URL - we don't expose your zurg publically
we could do as a future enhancement though, we'd need to have you specify a user/pass
but if you're using infuse, why not just add your plex URL?
oh oh i figured zurg webdav was faster & could just bypass plex
it probably would be, want to be a guinea-pig?
yes i do! ๐
ok, create an #๐ฅโelf-help ticket and we can do a beta-test
sounds good thanks!
