👋 this is a public channel, so be careful what you share, but firstly what I need to know is how the alldebrid webdav URL works - is it a common URL with your own user/pass, or is it a special URL just for you? (send private details via #🏥┆elf-help )

common url with own user/pass

what's the URL? how does the folder structure look when you browse it with your browser / - can you make seperate movie/tv folders?
funkypenguin | ElfHosted
are there IP limits like RD?

Yeah I think so history, links, and magnets
funkypenguin | ElfHosted
so how would you point plex at it, if it's just a bucket of content? i.e, how would plex know what's a movie / tv, or would you just lump it all into a "videos" folder?

just lumps all into the same folder and plex just understands it it's messy

yuk 🙂 ok, so here's what I'd suggest... we add a rclone mount pointing to your messy folder, but then also setup rdtclient + sonarr + radarr in symlink mode, which would let you start building a much tidier libary sorted by content type, in folder,s etc... that way you find your existing content in the messy library, but new content in nice tidy movies / shows libraries?

Do you allow the addition of private trackers?
funkypenguin | ElfHosted
yes, but all our torrent clients require you to bring your own VPN credentials, and all traffic is routed via that VPN oh wait, sorry, confused with the common "public trackers" question IDK what that means in the context of alldebrid 🙂

I mean if we’re setting up a plex server with sonarr and radarr meaning you can add prowlarr for trackers
funkypenguin | ElfHosted
oh, yep, that works

If something isn’t on all debrid or real debrid I can have it stored
funkypenguin | ElfHosted
ah, yes, you can see the diagram here?
funkypenguin | ElfHosted
you can add other (non-debrid) trackers, and use regular downloaders (torrents/nzbs), and have the content saved to /storage/elfstorage (or a storagebox) so you can have a hybrid of debrid symlinks, and downloaded content, from either debrid, torrent, or nzb I've not documented it yet, but under the advanced downloader settings in the arrs, you can restrict which downloader can be used for which indexer.. so for example you can prevent rdtclient trying to send your private torrents to your debrid provider!

What about storage, how much would that be?
funkypenguin | ElfHosted
from us, it's $6/TB/month but you can also attach a hetzner storagebox (https://www.hetzner.com/storage/storage-box) our storage is cheap-and-reliable-but-slow - i wouldn't try torrent racing with it, but it's good for archival

And what are the specs for the real debrid only server?
funkypenguin | ElfHosted
we don't really do "specs".. all your apps run as pods in a kubernetes cluster, each resourced appropriately for reasonable use we have multiple nodes and kubernetes will choose where to schedule each app based on current load/usage for plex, the pod is limited to 1.5 vCPU, which when combined with our QSV hardware transcoding, will give "several" concurrent streams, depending on whether you're direct-playing or transcoding 1080P content (we block 4K transcodes) here's a (untested) product for just the alldebrid mount, you can use this to check whether it works at all... https://store.elfhosted.com/product/rclone-alldebrid and here's a bundle with all the goodies: https://store.elfhosted.com/product/advanced-infinite-arr-plex-alldebrid-streaming-bundle
