what size should I get for this Uniqlo women’s cardigan?

https://www.uniqlo.com/uk/en/product/souffl%C3%A9-yarn-short-cardigan-461083COL07SMA003000.html?template=shopping&gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAADM0H6g5K7JzwwcFmLy3IofebX8xg&gclid=Cj0KCQiAtaOtBhCwARIsAN_x-3LDayzqm5L_vL1XD5w1vChEUtYd_LXLNb8ode2Cpo2I3Rjm8ZlKGIwaApgWEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds Even though it’s women’s I think for the price especially this is the best looking cardigan I’ve found really, I’d have to see how it sat on me but I’m short anyway so probably fine there. I normally wear an L shall I stick with this or size up? The fit check thing on the website says xxl lol Or do you think I should look elsewhere?

US site has size charts at least Its going to be very cropped and the arms are short keep that in mind, if you are tall it is unlikely to fit. That said if you are shorter it actually would be awesome (not enough mens clothes are cut like this) They also won't restock, at least not till next winter when they might offer a similar cardigan, its on sale to clear inventory

Does that L look on the small side or would it behave much the same as a men’s L

This is cut to be slightly oversized from the pictures. I'd say the Womens sizes are about a size down from the mens size at a minimum. maybe 2, I normally wear a Uniqlo Mens L and would probably buy the XXL if I bought this based on the measurements
