Do you need to do it via the API for each new customer?

Catch-all rule only applies on the zone-level domain, you can’t create catch-all rule for each of your subdomain.
I just created the wildcard DNS entry manually myself.
you can send me an email to
david@tobias.testing.email.ai.moda and it will forward to me just fine.the email routing page is unhappy and shows red, but it does work.
