is it just the menu or in game too?
@sproot4717 bro can hear your pc? Its crying
Let it rest your laptop is overheating
I just opened it and I figured it out. In nvidia settings it went on integrated graphics for some reason
Runs small stuff fine but dies on anything that requires for power
Also it’s a laptop so the sound is normal
sound is normal on non gaming laptops
gaming laptops usually have 2 fans
and valorant is not one of those games that uses a lot of resources
so your laptop shouldnt be sounding like that
u might need to probably get it cleaned or get thermal paste repasted
also yeah look at ur temps before you do anything because thts important
If i were your laptop i would kill my self on a min
you aint seen nothing yet lil bro
Yeah idk how to do that though. Idk much I got one to play with friends since old one ran ag 20 frames
Do I go to like a computer store or smth
yeah i would recommend it
but check ur temps first
because im pretty sure its a temprature problem
but just to be sure
nah bro, just open the back screws of your legion 5i or whatever model it is. clean the fans and hit me up in dms. i have the best settings for nvidia control pannel
but clean the fans first

and follow these steps too
gimme the settings too bro
i just need help with paclet loss
i guess packet loss mainly occurs due to internet connectivity, use an ethernet cable to avoid the problems
rest assured i’ll send in my nvidia control pannel settings tomorrow
@sproot4717 Do You Have Any Apps Running In The Background?
I’ve gone through settings to turn off what I don’t need already
Is a computer store also able to do that
They are but you're gonna save a decent amount of money
Also @sproot4717 can you give us a ss of task manager while you're on val?
Normally temp is 80 but I’ve fixed the issue
So is it still a problem
80 is very high for valorant
Can I see your task manager and specs?
He is on laptop no ?
And?
He's on a gaming laptop
I would expect a normal laptop to run at 80
But a gaming laptop has a lot better cooling
yes
a gaming laptop also goes for performance
also turn on performance mode in lenovo vantage
the start up light for your laptop should turn red
only in charging mode
it’ll boost your performance too
it will ask you to turn on overclocking by the lenovo vantage software, it’s safe just dw
search “background apps” in start menu and turn them off
here are the best settings for nvidia control panel
already was
also right click on your windows screen > go to display settings > scroll down till you see > graphic settings and turn on low latency mode
and the rest settings are in this video
well good then, restart your legion after making the following changes
have fun!
Not really
Yeah
Look 80 is still high for a game like valorant
If it was a more graphically intense game I would understand
Imagine what your laptop would do if you played cod or something on it?
???
Clearly you've never used a gaming laptop before
80 is basic temp for laptop, even more for gaming laptop, if he dont clean it every 4 month he cant be under 80 degree
No why would i use something like that ? But i clearly know people who used them and solved problem on it for them 80 degree is basic if you dont clean them often
Yeah but it's obvious that you should clean it often
Why would you get a gaming laptop and not clean it often
@kitkat_exe7 not obvious for 80% of people that use laptop
Yeah we don't even know how long it's been since he's gotten it cleaned
Because people who get a gaming laptop most of the time dont know anything at pc,
Or like maybe he hasn't even gotten it cleaned ever since he got it
@sproot4717 sknce how long you got you laptop and when did you clean it last time ?
That does not make any sense
Gaming laptops are like mini pc's
I meet many people using gaming laptop 8/10 know almost nothing at pc or cleaning , that why they change every 2 years most of the time or complain about pc lagging
You dont build yourself so people dont have the need to know which part do what, they never go in bios, and usually they think its more durable than pc
I think the guy has been using his PC without cleaning for about 1 year or more
Even Lenovo suggests cleaning it every 3-6 months
Lolz
His thermal paste might have dried out
got it early 2022
@sproot4717 you didnt clean at all ?
Nah
💀💀
Bro definitely needs to clean it
fr
same bro i got mine in aril 2022 ik its completely clogged n needs cleaning but im lazy to give ti ;sku
