is anyone else having awful loading times?
Sometimes I can’t get into the agent select menu before it’s over so I get a dodging penalty and annoyed teammates. I can usually hear vc during this and hear the “select your agent” thing. I also usually don’t load in until the 1st round has started so I’m stuck with a classic and no util. I have a good pc and this hasn’t really been an issue before.

if it isnt on SSD, move it to SSD. if you dont have SSD, buy one

as long as your cpu isnt thermal throttling you are fine
For the most part, even with an hdd you shouldnt straight up just not load into the game
but you just want a minimum of around 5400rpm or so
so you also want to check that
i agree with you but as tech advances the devs leave the old tech behind when coding and optimizing and move onto the new better, faster tech with their updates and patches
You do want to upgrade for the future, but the problem right now might or might not be the HDD
Now first, we can focus on the future once you can play the game
kind of how computers had 32 kilobytes of ramin the 90s. nowadays chrome needs 4 gigs
from 8 gigs, to 16 gigs lmao
8 gigs used to be a lot of ram 😦
now I have 64 so I can run two chrome and discord at the same time
alt-tabbing seems to be the cause

Try setting the game to fullscreen (not windowed fullscreen) and dont alt tab
