game crashes when tabbing out and back in
been happening for a few days now, my game keeps crashing when i tab in and out after a while, initially its fine but then after a few tab ins and outs my game will just crash entirely
any fixes?

you can try turning of hardware accelerated gpu scheduler
should be in settings
or properties
and make sure your in game refresh rate and resolution matches the ones in your other tabs

the crashing can also just be caused because of when your alt tabbing
when you alt tab, your computer needs to update multiple things and they are sometimes not done correctly
or if your game is currently running something and the alt tab prevents it

same thing happens to me, it’s super annoying when I’m doing aimlabs during the load in and then I tab back and it crashes, giving me either a queue dodge or an afk
I play on windowed full screen as well
I haven’t tried just playing on windowed, does that work?

i got told to disable full screen optimisation
or enable it if u have it off
It was one of the first things I turned off when I got my pc
like also Val’s full screen windowed is weird, on other games I just hit escape and then I can move it off the game, whereas in Val you have to tab out to move it off
