jackets to try and find on Poshmark.

What are some good brands to find secondhand on Poshmark or similar sites (I’d like ideas for that too) I wear and XL-XXL for outerwear and have used the guides but some brands just don’t show up as resale. Chore coats. type vibes. Good durability etc. at least as a starting point?

At least in Canada I see a lot of LL Bean, Woolrich, and Eddie Bauer going for good prices.

Okay. I’ll start there. I saw some recs for engineered garmetd being high quality. Which I agree they just don’t resell. I’m looking for some allen Edmonds for outerwear’s vibes

Oh yeah EG is super nice if you can find it obviously! Could also look for old Filson, too. Or search terms like 'barn coat' 'barn jacket' 'chore jacket' etc

Yeah hard part when I do that, is there’s not filter for the good stuff vs the crap. So looking for quality brands.

eBay is legit for clothes Lots of French brands at decent prices secondhand. vetra, le laboureur, mont st michel I wouldn't bother with EG if you're just looking for a chore coat. Your main interest is quality, and people buy eg for cool details and interesting fabrics more than quality. It's also usually more expensive secondhand than the other brands above. $400 for secondhand filson is a lot, you can definitely go lower

Yeah I agree with all of that But what is a good quality brand I can get ? I don’t want to shop blind if I can help it

Filson is solid, it just usually goes a lot cheaper. $400 is bordering on retail prices

Yeah I looked up bean and woolrich etc. Not familiar with the ones you posted so I’ll have to make sure on sizing and such

Hmm, so wallace and barnes stuff tends to be roomier than the non-wallace and barnes clothes from jcrew, so I'm inclined to say it'll work pretty well for you. But hard to say for sure without measurement info Good sellers will include measurements for whatever they're selling, so if you're not already doing this, would definitely recommend taking a measuring tape to measure some clothes you already have that fit you well, and then compare those measurements to the clothes that you're thinking about online to see if they'll fit
