I sent my friend a gift
this morning at 7am and now it’s 3:55pm and she still hasn’t gotten it and i did everything correctly

I bought myself one and her

you just can't gift owned tokens

Gifting is currently bugged and we have no notice on when it will be fixed.
If you are making a ticket on "not receiving" a gift or a friend not receiving your gift, it's because this feature is temporarily bugged. To prevent possible losses on tokens, we advise not to use the gifting feature until developers can fix it. You will be able to give friends chat/overhead tags soon, so please be patient!

Personally, I'd say make a ticket and see if they can at least manually give that person their gift.
Unfortunately we do not do refunds so best of luck to you.
