its meant to be within 1-3ms for stable ping
but now its only going till 50-70
sometimes it even goees to 500
just contact ur isp
if ur router is given by ur isp
i thought of doin it but im just kid n my dad aint allowin:/
tell him u wanna learn this thing
or communication
is there any way like to settle it within like gmail texts and not direct calling
depends on ur isp
hmm okay thanks
they will open a ticket, contact u and will visit ur home to check things out
oh k
tnx for the help dude
so..they will still need to contact u with phone number
okay...
tnx
btw bro
i got it fixed
i got to know the reson
the router is in hall n im in bedroom
so i keep the door closed which was obstructing the signal
now i played 3 matches with door open n i didnt face lag much
not bad now
there's still ping spikes, was there anyone using the network while u were testing?
these spikes shouldn't happen as this is to ur local gateway
unless there's someone stressing the router, ie watching high res videos
hmm
i think my brother was in netflix
n my mom might have been in social media
im not sure tho
n those small spikes i am not able to help it
n today the ping rose much more
n also im not connected to ethernet too
btw got any idea to fix packet loss?
something's faulty
i believe its ur router tho
1. faulty fibre cable
2. faulty hardware, can be modem or router or even both
for the first one, u have to contact ur isp
had both problem once
ugh actually had twice with the second
first time was the router hw itself faulty resulting packet losses
they replaced a new router for me,
second time was the new router's firmware faults, contacted them
they updated the firmware for me
problem fixed
Ok
