every start of an episode theres a rank reset. meaning every player will get lower ranks than before. i had luck this time going from gold 3 to gold 1, but theres also people who go from plat to silver 1 or something
so thats pretty common

High kills but u lose, higher rank. losing and winning don't really matter much in placements.
and last & your duo's do not perform as good as you are. Which makes them pull you back

For Ur placements, how many did u win and lose and what was your kda for each game

I got like bot frag for 3 games and lost all but top frag 2 games and got placed iron 3, my tip frag games were like 31/12/11, 18/09/9 and bot frag was 08/18/4...

4 years of cs gives a lot of foundation to start with. aiming. spray controls. movement etc.

Yeah the difference is maybe in silver you could flick that but the higher you go they are not letting you go away with watching wall

Idk how but placement matches seem harder, if u check my valorant career, you can see my placements are trash but my normal comp games I drop 30 bombs

you play good agains people in your skillrange -> you play agains better people next
Your missing the point. Lets say you are plat 2 okay. every Season. If its the last act there is an Hard Reset every time. with no exceptions. if hard reset begins everyone has to play 5 placement matches. Which you will be tested back. in most cases people start 3 ranks below their previous rank
So plat players usually go to gold
gold to silver
silver to bronw
etc etc
but if you played really bad on your placements which can happen. there is chance you begin 4 spots below your placement
and if you win every placement match you will placed higher. since you was ascendant lets say ascendant 1. he began on diamond 1 porbable. won 4 rounds lost 1 thats why he began 2 ranks below his previous rank
So to make it clear on if there is a hard reset. Its not possible to start at the rank where you left. Its the point. everyone is getting dropped to lower ranks to prove you deserve that spot
Thats why what you said here is not right cause regardless the outcom in placement you cant get higher rank
