Seeking Thick Wool or Cashmere Beanie
(**in BLACK) Beanie or Watch Cap, whatever you want to call it. I want one that's thick, maybe ribbed (undecided). Would love to and be thankful to hear suggestions. Assume no budget, but I'm hesitant to drop $300+ when it looks like there's stuff available in the $80-200 range.

Returnable so you can give them a try before you commit. JJVE knit stuff is usually pretty great though. I’d expect mainline to feel more “interesting” and O Project to be a more standard thick wool knit.
I have the Engineered Garments Watch Cap, it's 100% wool and stretched out to fit my giant head pretty nicely. Very warm.
Got mine on sale for like $40CDN but it's usually closre to 60.
I'm going to add a new caveat that I think I'd prefer a more traditional shape, especially with the folded bottom, and I think the oversized bauble looking ones might not be my vibe
Though the o project one looks kinda neat and I'm putting it in my maybe category
I purchased a Norse Projects beanie at mfa's scandinavian minimalism peak. I still like it quite a bit.
