Info on Integration
so, one thing is unclear to me, is it necessary to add the new fork repository to hacs or is it still """"dangerous"""" use the new one and should I keep the old one?

At the moment there is no new features as of today (14th of jan) in the forked repo.
However soon there may be, and by 3.0.0 we are hoping to have a whole new HACS entry for the forked version.
The new one will never be dangerous it will have some bug fixes soon, hopefully. There are a few on my radar I will look into after docs is sorted out.
then I'll switch to the new one so I won't miss future updates
There aren't any auto updates with either one though. No auto updates with old one because there are no updates at all 😂
And no auto-uodating with ours until we add to hacs. If you want you can update but it is identical for now. We will make an announcement here if we make any changes to it that people may need.
yes, but once added manually the new repo to hacs, hacs reports when there is an update
obviously there is no auto update! is an hacs "feature"
Ahh, sorry, I see what you mean now. Sounds good to me 😄
