If you could check the continuity of these 3 contacts from one cable end to another using a multimeter
.6 on signal.
.5 on 3.3
.5 on ground
If I understand correctly, that means the signal is good?

Ok than must be something with my grip. I will bother VKB support. Thank you, and the rhino is amazing, just need to get my grip working.
Another thing comes to mind, maybe the pins inside the grip don't reach the contact PCB fully. You could try raising the small contact PCB on the adapter something like 0.5mm using a toothpick and see if it makes contact then.
I got it all sorted out, ended up being a corrupted firmware with my grip. Thanks again for the help!
