VRR not working
I'm not exactly sure if I'm missing something, if it's not well documented, or it's straight up not working. I recently setup a HTPC, using the bazzite HTPC build. I'm using an intel arc a750 for my gpu and for whatever reason I just cannot get VRR to pass through to my LG C9 OLED. Based on my research hdmi port is limited to 2.0 I believe however the card does support VRR via DP to hdmi conversion. I made sure to pick up a cable that supports the proper conversion so VRR can pass through but when I'm booted in it states VRR is unsupported. Any ideas would be appreciated cause I'm at a loss.

Can you do full DisplayPort by any chance?
My trust for HDMI in high performance situations like this is basically zero
Lg c9 does not have a dp port, so no
If TVs had dp ports that'd be amazing but that'll never happen
This may be a dumb question but it shouldn't make a difference between the deck build vs deck-gnome build right for VRR?
None, they both have it
Gnome VRR is beta though, might have better luck on KDE
That's what I was using initially
Off topic, but while I have your attention here, you wouldn't happen to know why steam is halving my download speed would you? Originally I was using chimeraos (which VRR didn't work their either) and I was getting 400+mbps downloads. Upon switching to bazzite it can't seem to break past 200mbps. I did do a speed test and I was getting full speeds via web browser so I know it's not the hardware
There was a steam update that harmed download speeds
And a workaround
I'll look for it again
Thank
Okay so update to this. While I can't do this with my c9 I decided to just test it and slap this onto my VRR capable monitor, direct dp both ends. Sure enough VRR was there. I went even further and hooked it up to another TV I have which also supports VRR with the dp to hdmi cable I'm using, and it's back to being broken again. So maybe it's the cable? Guess I gotta shop around unless anyone knows of that that works out of the box

This is it, I'll add a just command to apply this and make it a default in the portal
This worked, thank you. I guess I will just have to not have VRR until someone somewhere makes a DP to HDMI adapter that will actively convert VRR properly, or until VRR over HDMI becomes possible.
Sorry to ping you again but any ideas why the xbox one wireless adapter does not work?
Try:
ujust use-stock-gamepads
and then reboot
this will be default behavior when that next big update goes liveSays does not contain recipe
hold on, might have just changed upstream
ujust configure-gamepads
use stockThat was it thank you
