What do I search for to find a sweater like this?
- the textured lines down it
- the material
- the multi-colored specks all throughout (this is the main thing)
I have tried keywords like “donegal”, “specks”, “speckled”, but I can’t find anything consistent, just the random oddball used piece here and there. I’m fine with used, but can’t find anything quite similar enough.

Lines down it —> ribbed. Material —> it’s a sweater, so I would personally want it to be wool. Specks —> sure, donegal or speckled.

hmm, eBay is gonna be your best shot then probably. Hard to find an item at that budget when you're looking for several specific details! Maybe just set a saved search for "ribbed sweater (donegal, fleck, speckled)" and check it regularly or set email alerts
Should catch items uploaded with any variation of those search terms
The photo is kind of small but it looks like it could be a ribbed Shaker knit made from a Donegal yarn.
Seems "speckle" and "speckled" were the keywords to be using on the used markets.
