what should i pair this pants with?
i've been eyeing this pants for a long time and idk what to pair it with, thinking of just some baggy shirts or a plain white with half zip sweater for the outer.

I'd style this pretty similarly to how it looks here. A simple shirt on top and some derbies or boots beneath. The style is pretty different from a halfzip sweater so I wouldn't recommend that.
You can also take advantage of the volume to layer more aggressively than just styling very simply to highlight the pants. Long and drapey tunics, shirts, overshirts, and sweaters under long coats work great here. You have a lot more room to play with the top block since these are so long and wide.

so with this pants it's either just do simple on the top or massive with layering?

imo the reality is that wrap pants aren't the most versitile pair out there BUT they can make a simple outfit shine or fit seamlessly with heavy layering.
This is how I style mine. They aren’t identical to the ones you’re looking at but hopefully they help
i would like to style them with coats and other outer but that would just drench me in sweat since i live in a very tropical country
i think for now i would just use the pants with some plain white shirt
tho i'm also thinking of pairing the pants with this
