Just installed riot client and Valorant, play button is unclickable?

The play button is greyed out, and whenever I try playing Valorant through my desktop, it opens for a bit and then it closes due to an error.

it seems to be properly running, but it's not running well even with low settings. I'm not sure why this is happening, since I was able to run this game well with a laptop that was much worse than what i have now
