critical error: system failure crash dump
My valorant crashes upon open or right when I load into a game. It’s not a new issue, for me or anyone else. There are many YouTube videos about how to fix it which suggest: starting vgc as automatic, running in compatibility mode, setting permissions, reinstalling, and none of them have worked. Even on a new windows installation it doesn’t work. Can anyone help

not just uninstalled but like 20 mins ago
it very well could be bios related because I full clean installed windows and the game still wont run, so i have high hopes for secure boot

are your drivers up to date?
I got that error a lot previously, I usually just set vgc to auto and it works

ryzen 5 3600x and gtx 1650 my game was always so smooth fine never had any problems i havnet played valorant in a year i js came back to it downloaded it but im getting this problem

turn off antivirus if u have, also flush network cache, in admin cmd,
netsh winsock reset
netsh int ip reset
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
ipconfig /flushdns
Sometimes if the internet cuts out or if your computer goes to sleep while the game is running I get that error I have gotten the error tons because my internet is bad I have only had to reinstall the game once due to corrupted files @gibbygames
my internet is fine tho
and it only happens off launch pretty much
Try this
1. Delete Valorant and riot client
2. Delete remaining files for the client and the game including temporary files
3. Restart your computer
4. Reinstall the game and hope it works

And it worked
So idk it might work for gibby
I did also have the same specs
But recently upgraded to
A 4090
Replacing the CMOS battery wouldn’t do anything in theory other than reset the bios
Back to default settings
It might work
The only problem with that is that he has already reset his bios back to factory
But remember his version is 12/5
And the latest is like 16 or smthing

Or the system might prob be bottlenecking
At this point I would just get a new pc
Or get new parts or get my pc checked out by a technician
That’s not physically possible if even one of the pins were bent your system would not boot
The system specs are way too high for bottlenecking
For thermals it’s a possibility but that wouldn’t explain why the game is crashing and not even booting
And why there is no mention of any other game or low fps issues
I mean if the unimportant pins are bent then it might work
The gpu might also be broken
Like the first model of the 4090 I had
Due to that it wasn't booting
Why bcuz the pcie port was melting
Due to the gpu heat
So I had to get a new one
I hadn't heard of cases like this on the 3070
But it might be possible

even u do, u will experience issues on every game, even desktop, browsers
well yes reseting the cmos is worth to give a try, this should fix some problems
but the problem isn't related to bios at all

literally every process is executed by the cpu, and gpu for graphical output
yes, the gpu can also do some calculations, such as mining(calculating hashes), but it doesn't do the cpu's job
i am considering getting new mobo+cpu, I originally thought my drive was the issue because this has been going on for a while, and after a new drive with same issue Im probably just gonna get new CPU and motherboard sadge
my gpu is a 3070 i got off launch never had an issue, plus my discord app and google would randomly crash and i think something is just bricked in there.
lots of unexplainable BSoDs and weird stuff and ive spent too much time on this anyways

what were the bsods too
there will be an error every time u get bsod, be sure to mark them down, theyre very important to find out whats the problem
