so basically
when ur playing astra
what u wanna do is
wild
hardstuck silver/gold astra main here
you’ll probably be spending more time looking at minimap than any other agent in the game
she’s probably the best lurker in the game cuz no matter where she is she still provides the same support
on defense use audio or minimap to time ur pull
make sure to tell ur team about the fact that you will pull otherwise they might run off even tho the enemy is vulnerable
if someone’s stuck in a corner pull and stun them (always 100% follow this rule it makes the enemy’s lives more miserable and your teams lives more funny)
my advice is the best cuz im one of the 3 people in the world who play astra

I love playing Astra.
For defence - I would place all of my stars down at the entry points of the sites, as if they are not attacking your site, you are able to smoke the attacking site down quickly and efficiently. You can recover the stars back, and eventually when you get to the attacking site the stars would of already regened back for you to reuse.
For attack - I tend to use the "recover/take that back" function to use quick smokes, as the people who are defending that site like to play in smokes. I always put 2 stars on the spike, when they tap wait around 2 seconds then use the "pull" function, however you dont need to peak. After when they tap again wait 2 seconds and use the "concuss" function then you peak and see if they are on spike or not. Play time and win
on eco u can throw a shallow smoke and sit on the side of it
it does make it easier for enemies to get out of the chokepoint cuz the smokes not flush but ur more likely to get a kill thats why its better on eco
this also works in post plant if ur smoked off
if u throw ur own more shallow smoke u can create more angles to come out of

if ur gonna use 2 on the opposite site make sure ur team knows there’s gonna be a pull
that way they can spam and utilize it instead of running off
