Looking for a new daily "cheap" watch
Wore the leather band timex weekender nearly every day for the last 6 years but was stolen from my car today. I could just buy another one but wanted to see if anyone has any suggestions
Budget $50ish but can be a bit flexible
Don't like metal bands, though because they never fit right and always tear my arm hair

honestly, the casio F-91W has become a standby for me -- and weirdly a bunch of my peers have individually bought it recently. I'm not sure what common inspiration we have, but I continue to be charmed by the watch -- clunky in an endearing way, but not overly loud https://www.casio.com/us/watches/casio/product.F-91W-1/

The F91W-1 steel black digital watch is water resistant, has a long life battery and features an micro-light that makes it easy to read in darkness.
Some of my favorite budget watches are vintage Vostoks made in the USSR. Almost any model can be had for under $100 and they come in tons of fun variations

Seconding the Vostok, I have an Amphibia "scuba dude" that I really like (and also seconding the Casio F-91W, which is my other watch lol)
The GOAT. They come in a few metallic finishes that won't actually yank your arm hair out too
Casio AE-1200 aka the Casio Royale is under 50 bucks if you shop about and looks awesome
If you like dive type watches theres the Casio Duro, which is built like a tank
yoooooooooo
Get a seiko 5. They're like $100
the reason I'm suggesting quartz watches at this price point is they're more practical for most people and need no servicing for a very long time.
what kind of style are you looking for? @Iceman32 casual? is quartz okay?
yep, casual I have a much nicer watch I use when I'm dressed up. I'm indifferent to quartz vs mechanical
whats your dress up watch if you dont mind me asking? @Iceman32
Seiko SRPB43 that I got used a few years ago but I almost never wear it
