Position: Senior OpenShift Engineer
Location: Remote (Hartford, CT preferred)
Duration: 6 Months + Contract
Required Qualifications :
(THIS IS NOT A DEVOPS POSITION)
10+ years of IT experience
5+ experience of OpenShift Container Platform
experience in designing and supporting enterprise Infrastructure
In depth knowledge of Linux Operating system and VMware hypervisor
experience in designing and implementing new on-premises and Public cloud resources while implementing best practices and industry standards
experience in migrating on-premises infrastructure to Public cloud
experience working in container platform monitoring and alerts for resource availability
experience working in environment having different Public Cloud services deployment
Experience and knowledge in IT security
Understand enterprise level application architecture diagrams
Strong problem determination and debugging skills
Knowledge in automation and scription languages
High degree of knowledge in networking and load balancer such as Big IP (F5)
Proficiency in Linux OS, shell scripting, Ansible/Puppet scriptingw
