Windows 11 Dev Drive - file types
Hey guys, anyone using Dev Drive on Windows ? From what I heard it supposed to used only for source codes but is there any real catch if I use it also for storing unity assets, DB backups, bunch of different files ?

that's all fine to put on there
mostly you want to avoid installing applications onto there. but there's really nothing wrong with putting whatever other junk you want in it
i have my %temp% folder on my dev drive
*as long as the stuff is trusted since dev drives are AV ignored
and I guess that putting files that are frequently written may cause worse performance as DevDrives being CoW put some overhead on writing
