Vanguard isn't working
I'm getting an error when trying to install the game, It says that it can't install a dependency. Can anyone help?

I restarted my pc but riot client just wont install vanguard

Disable your antivirus and exclude VALORANT in Windows Firewall
Open up your Windows search bar or Start menu, and type in Windows Defender Firewall.
Click on the first item that comes up and choose Allow a program through Windows Firewall.
Choose Change Settings. ...
Select Allow another app and locate the installation folder for VALORANT .exe and click on OK. ...
Check all the boxes for VALORANT on the firewall exceptions and click OK.
do i also need to add an exclusion for windows defender?
I would recommend to turn it off during the installation.
Otherwise it may block something during the installation which will create issues.
with installation you mean the client should just start installing vanguard once the defender is off?

How can I find the folder with valorant.exe
Install it again from the website would be better in case the defender deleted some parts of the client.

This means that vanguard isn't installing correctly. Have you tried reintalling vanguard yet?
If not:
Open Command Prompt in Administrator
Type command “sc delete vgc” and press Enter.
Type command “sc delete vgk” and press Enter.
Close the Command Prompt and then restart your PC.
Go to the C:/ProgramFiles/ and delete the Riot Vanguard
Restart your pc
Relaunch Valorant and it will say that you need to relaunch for Vanguard to install.
