good and free 3d models for threejs + inspiration
Currently building a threejs react website where I am experimenting with 3d models in threejs. Do you guys have any inspiration what the setting should be? I tried a space theme, but I am not 100% what I can put there. Also, is there any site that provides great (animated) 3d models. Sketchfab is one site but I wonder if there are others

Depends what the goal with three js is.
Are you creating the models?
No im just duping them
I have seen some dope stuff like this
https://www.joshuas.world/
Joshua's World
Portfolio Joshua von Hofen
Someone recreated it. However I don't want to copy someone's work
you might have some luck looking for low-poly game assets
great idea
I might just build something in roblox studio as im experienced in it due to me being addicted to roblox when i was a kid
haha, that works too 😄
Blender can be pretty rewarding to learn too btw, and if you want to go for low poly it wouldn't take long at all
no idea how Roblox Studio works, but a bunch of experience might just translate 1-to-1
thats true i just find rovlox studio's ui to be more friendly for starters
oh, I don't doubt it
Blender's dense
Plus their free assets are sometimes amazing
One thing I am just not sure of id what the theme is gonna be and what the objects on screen will be
Sketchfab has some free models https://sketchfab.com/features/free-3d-models
If you're just using it for personal projects that you're not publishing, Unreal has Quixel, which has a ton of stuff that's technically only free to use with Unreal Engine (hence the unpublished personal use caveat)
There's also CGTrader https://www.cgtrader.com/free-3d-models, Turbosquid https://www.turbosquid.com/Search/3D-Models/free, and a bunch of 3d printing sites.
Thanks!
i finally got an idea

You should have seen blender back in 2008, unusable.
