how does one style green corduroy pants

I was thinking maybe a gray top/white top but that’s about it. I really like colors that pop but for this one I feel like I should tone it down with the pants being a majority of the proportions

That's a nice color, it would pair well with earth tones. If you tone down the other pieces too much it will be a jarring contrast. Here's a couple of examples of dark green not being toned down:

So brown/blue maybe?

In terms of shoes what colors would look well? I currently have light yellow converse, black solo air Chelsea boots, and some doc martens red loafers but I think for this one I might have to grab something new to casual use it a bit

Light yellow converse would be really cool. solovairs would be the safest option, I think a brown boot would work too like blundstones or something

Definitely like earth tones for clothes, brown/burgundy shoes, though plenty other choices are good too

I'm wearing chinos in the same emerald tone right now! They're definitely a little tricky. If you want to go with a saturated color theme, I recommend a coffee-brown Shetland sweater. It also works really well with heathered light gray sweatshirt and/or a light blue oxford. I think it shines the most, however, when paired with an oatmeal color — jacket, tee, Shetland sweater, it all looks great. For shoes, go for dark brown or black. You can also pair or with a black tee or sweater if you want a more severe look.

A mid/light brown is my favorite shoe leather to wear with green pants. I have a pair of grant stone derbies in natural chromexcel that look amazing with green pants.

Ignore the shirt but is there potential with the converse/green combo?

I'd want one of the stripes to match the color/tone of the sneakers personally, but yeah imo those sneakers go with the pants super well. Try just a regular white T-shirt as well, maybe a yellow shirt if you have one, a white T-shirt tucked in under some button dows, play around with a few ideas and see which ones look best to you.
